Commencement Ceremony Procedures and Schedule

Upon pick-up of rental gown from the bookstore, students will be given an official name card which must be filled out immediately. Students must retain that official name card and bring it to their Commencement exercise. At Commencement, students possessing an official name card will be directed to line up at the proper location. Students without the card will be directed to a separate location for assistance or not be permitted to participate in the event. Students will retain the official name card until collected by the name reader during the ceremony.

Only students dressed in the appropriate attire, including cap and gown, will be permitted to participate in a Commencement ceremony. All other procedures for participation in the Commencement are contained in the Commencement Handbook.
